The excellent translation

Word-by-word-translations are really not our thing. Not the least. We wouldn't bother, actually. Anyone with a fair knowledge of the language and a good dictionary can manage those. Or even a decent computer with the right software!

But word-by-word is probably not what you want! You want the translations to be as exquisit as your original, don't you? To capture the moods and feelings, as well as the content. To pass on what is said in-between the lines! To be a small piece of artwork. To actually allow the reader to appreciate your text to it's full extent!

We like to see translation as something in the no-one's land, closing up to good copy-writing! Localization, to some part, is a word for it.

Why are we so good at it? One reason is hidden in all the silent knowledge we've gained from lives lived. We've been there, remember! We know language. We know good communication!
